The recent opening of the Aral Pulse charging park with a Reckon.ai powered smart store in the Mönchengladbach Nordpark industrial estate in Germany, was a premiere in several respects. It is Aral's first charging park with a smart store in Germany and, in its form with a lounge, also the first of its kind for BP in Europe. It is therefore no surprise that, in addition to the representatives of the companies involved, many journalists from national media and the NRW Minister for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Transport of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, Oliver Krischer, came to Mönchengladbach to attend the opening. In addition to parking spaces, the 1,600 square meter site offers 28 ultra-fast charging points from Aral Pulse. Located just two minutes from the A 61 motorway and within sight of Borussia Mönchengladbach's stadium, the companies are hoping for a high frequency of use, which should also benefit the smart store with a lounge operated by Lekkerland, which also has modern sanitary facilities.
